7/19/2023 0 Comments Rust raid alert discord![]() Every server worth talking about uses a system called battlemetrics, which will track every player that joins the server. There are two major ways server admins detect previous cheaters IP address and in-game names. There could be some examples with the larger server groups like Rustified that could access HIDs, but the overwhelming majority do not have access to this information. This discord has facepunch employees in it and the owners of virtually every major server worth talking about.Īnyway, on to how it all works, the first important thing to know about is hardware ids. I was given a rare insight into an exclusive discord call RSO (Rust Server Owners) actively withholding information on fixing specific issues with the game from other owners and admins but bragging about fixing it on their servers. This is humorous because if we jump to the cheater side of the fence for a moment, you will find the complete opposite and far more cohesion and unity. All these servers say they work together, but they will knife each other when it comes down to it. I have personally witnessed server owners DDOS other server owners on force wipe to take their pop. Anecdotally, the admin world is filled with people who have something to prove. So I am well placed to explain how server admins detect cheating players and, more importantly, players who have cheated in the past. This was just over a year ago now, and since then, I have moved from smaller servers to what I would call tier 1 community and modded servers where I hold senior admin positions. I also bought a reasonably convincing steam profile with rust on it. I was due for a gaming rig upgrade, which meant I had a new hardware ID. However, I am curious by nature, so I embarked on a journey to discover how the world works on the other side of the rust scripting fence. Those scripts earned me a game ban, so I did what most caught cheaters do and get a new copy of the game only to slowly be banned from servers by server admins for having a game banned account. So when installing make sure you have your file paths the same as the bot script. In the past, I have made recoil scripts for rust. ![]() By default the bot searches for the file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Tesseract-OCR. Tesseract is the program that is used to monitor for "respawn" and report back. To modify/compile you will need the following Modules:Īt the bottom of the script is where you should place your discord bot token, and then compile. The script was made using Python 3.6, Tesseract-OCR and Discord.py version 0.6. ![]() Once installed open the file and it will begin checking for an existing discord bot token, if one is not found you can create one from here and paste it in, The token is then saved and memorized for the next time you boot the program. You can download the compiled file here, it's still required you install Tesseract-OCR to your C:\Program Files (x86)\Tesseract-OCR. Once !arstart has been initilized a new window will appear with the contents of the bottom right screen, indicating monitor-mode, once it reads "Respawn" it will alert the channel, you can stop Monitoring by closing down the application. !arstart | Starts monitoring for the "Respawn" button in order to alert your channel !arscreenshot | Takes a screenshot of the bots screen and publishes it to the channel !archannel | Sets the channel for alerts to the current The Discord bot comes with several commands, which are used to control how to bot works. Made in Python 3.6 and Tesseract-OCR, it monitors if the "Respawn" button is located in the bottom right (indicating death) and will then in the channel specified every X seconds (default is 3). Rust Anti-raid bot for detecting intruders and reporting back to your discord server.
